National Young Farmers Coalition

The National Young Farmers Coalition was established in 2010 with the vision, of creating an environment, where young people can have the opportunity to learn farming. Practicing a policy, of sustaining independence to practicing fair labor, and affordable land for those farmers. The logo for the National Young Farmers Coalition, features a two leaves intertwined with one another, and what is depicted as soil. Within the soil, in white, you read the logo text for the National Young Farmers Coalition, creating a sense of unity among the title; the use of the same typeface is successful. As the title of Coalition, is rather long, by choosing one typeface, and using a sense of hierarchy this allows for a focal point to be seen among the logo. This logo design and typeface used was very successful, the text is legible, and the design is very simple with a thin strip of white that coat the center of the leaves on the logo design, this helps tie in with the color chosen for the typeface. The simplicity of this design helps portray the unified, and orderly mission this coalition strives for in creating independent young farmers.

Bialetti

Bialetti has just celebrated there more than 80 years of Moka Express design, and technology. Having manufactured over 200 million coffee makers since the 1950s, Bialetti, has paved the way for bringing Italian coffee to the public. The aluminum pot is an eight sided shape all created to enhance the coffees aroma. On the side of the pot you see a caricature of the man that established the company, helping build it to the company Bialetti is today. By depicting the founder in this cartoon depiction, helps create a unique point of view to the coffee manufacturer. In addition, the caricature assists in bringing a sense of humor, and familiarity between the producer and consumer.  The design itself is a very humorous logo, and simple, like the design of the pot, the simplistic clean lines is an interesting clash along the small black and white logo. The text underneath the caricature is kerned in a way so that it borders along the image above it, which is a great attention to detail. If the text and image were a little bit bigger, this could help identify the name of the company, without having to get much closer to read the text. However, the portability of the design and logo is classic, and clean, creating a well-executed product.

Made out of 100% Organic Cotton and Hemp, My Big Fat Organic Nut Milk Sacks is a BlankIt! Concept, created by a team of unique individuals, this product is used to help anyone create a healthier, and gentler way of creating non-dairy milk. With a hilarious title, this product carries a lot of humor among others. The large typeface, is bold, with a slight drop shadow creating an emphasis of the title being burned into the hemp. With this creative logo, it causes a sense of interest, as people will begin examining the logo, they’ll be intrigued by it’s title, and would be curious to see what the products all about. The logo is extremely affective, and creating a title such as this can be rather tricky, just for the mere fact that when you see it, there are many that may not know what it’s for. However this was in fact a very effective design. Selling at many online locations, My Big Fat Organic Nut Milk Sacks, can be found anywhere, the color variations are well effective as well with the word organic, being the larger word of emphasis among the cotton sack.  The text in black is bold and alligned to the left, creating an organized formation. The design itself is very simple, there are no dramatic designs, as the main point itself is the title of the product. This was a very unique product and has really brought a safe method of creating non-dairy milk, that many can appreciate.

The Co-op logo is a very effective design, playing with negative and positive space, you see the green simplified designs of fruits, vegetables and farm animals.  With all the objects coming together in close proximity, they are all united by the color green, a symbol of life, nature, and energy. Within the center of the image you can see the name Co-op within the negative space. Beneath the Co-op logo, you can read co-opportunity in brown, which was a successful color usage, as it is a color that resonates with nature, and soil, acting as a breaking point to help create a design that can be easily legible, Natural foods is in the same hue of the Co-op logo. The entire design, and typeface for Santa the Co-op is very successful. With a bold typeface, it creates a sense of balance with the energetic design of the fruits, vegetables and poultry outlining the co-op logo. Ghost Stories

Coldplay sixth album Ghost Stories has been significantly related towards the incidents that arose during the release of the album. Lead singer Chris Martin was going through his separation with actress Gwyneth Paltrow. With hints on the split within various lyrics found in the album, this album allowed for a covert insight into the emotions and heartbreak that went into the making of this album, and the lyrics that are sung.
Within the center of the album you see two wings parallel to one anther among the curve of the wings, you see hidden images of birds flying, and lovers intertwined with one another. Along the bottom of the wings you see ladders leading to the bottom, and wells, and open windows that lead nowhere. This leads the viewer to truly see the meaning behind the small collection of compositions within the wings, the lovers are in a trance with one another, and you see that intrigued with one another they risk the possibility of getting hurt and falling into the dark pool of water. You see a state of helplessness in the man staring at himself in the mirror unsure of who he truly is, and the birds that fly in close proximity to him, insinuating the ideas that many people have where they wish they could just leave. The Choice of color is very intriguing, as the backgrounds hue is blue and depicted in a monochromatic fashion with small blue grey dots symbolizing stars. In a light grey with dark shadows, the wings are the centerpieces of the albums cover. The lines and transition between the designs and the wings are really beautiful, and it’s unfortunate that unless you look really close at the wings, you wont be able to see how intricate the designs are. Czech designers Mila Fürstová were the influence in the design of the album cover. By depicting contemporary imagery within the medieval design of the wings, Mila was able to depict artwork that Mila was mythological themed inspired.

Soda has been linked to the part of the cause for the increase of health reasons that the world faces. As more people catch on to this, the more people will stay away from all sodas. Paramount Drive In Theatres

By the 105 and 710 freeways in Los Angeles County, you find one of the few remaining drive-in theaters. Located in the city of Paramount, drive-in theaters are truly an amazing experience that really transports you back to a different time. After being closed for 22 years, the Paramount drive-in theaters is back. Featuring two 75-foot screens, this drive-in brings a level of nostalgia towards many individuals, as well as create a new movie experience for the youngest generation.
Along with the vintage movie going experience, the logo of the drive in theaters as well takes us back in time. Using the black and white colors to offset one another, a simplified depiction of a classic truck from the 1950s. Hovering over two parallel lines that enclose over the capitalized title Paramount. Emphasizing both location and title of the drive in, this logo in itself helps depict a location the has proven it’s loyalty by titling itself the city that it resides in, as well as the status of it’s establishment.  The Paramount drive in theater, hasn’t truly reached a larger audience, as signs mentioning the drive in, aren’t very visible, until you get close to theaters location. Although during its opening, popularity grew by word of mouth, with the new ways of connecting with one another, this movie theater has the potential to reach a much wider audience of movie goers. The design is very clean and simple. Creating a rather vintage look that can be greatly appreciated. The typeface is concise and legible, as well as the design of the truck is very simplified resembling an art deco feel with its angles and curvature.
